Welcome to the world of Denizens. We are an actual, actual play table-top role-playing group, playing a range of role-playing games that you may not have heard of, or seen being played much before. Really though, we are just a bunch of friends who like to play online and it’s been getting out of hand.
Currently we are playing using the Zweihander role-playing game in the world of Middle-Earth in what is in fact our second middle-earth campaign that lasted for about 2 and a half years set in the latter half of the first century of the Fourth Age. The current player characters are all very minor villains who survived the aftermath of our first heroic campaign! This will be a nasty, brutish and short campaign from the feel of it – a mini-campaign until we get set-up for our third campaign. Just as soon as we figure out what that is going to be.
In the pipe-line we have the following new games to choose from to bring to you – An Alien RPG campaign (I am so looking forward to this one), a 2d20 Conan RPG, a SWADE Deadlands campaign, a Dune Campaign: Walk Without Rhythm – that’s nearly ready to go, A Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Campaign: Horrors on the Orient Express, and yet more. Quite frankly it’s an embarrassment of riches(?) and these will appear when we have negotiated some ongoing mental dilemmas, and when other campaigns have reached their end.
So as I like to say we are an actual, actual TTRPG group – so what you will see is what most home TTRP’s are actually like. We might get slicker with practice, but somehow I doubt it. You get to see the GM’s VTT screen, and what they are doing behind the scenes during play, which you don’t get to see in many other streams. We also present behind the scenes videos, and are developing more behind the scenes, world-building and how-to materials which will be appearing on our YT channel and here on our website.
