The Denizens are refugees of the Witch Queen’s Army following their rout in the early part of the Fourth Age by the allied forces of the Re-United Kingdoms. They’ve fled across the Misty Mountains seeking tribes to join or co-opt in the depths of Mirkwood. Having bullied the Hobgoblin Merelicious (leader of a small band of Snaga Goblins who co-habit with the Spawn of Mother Ungol in the Spider Caverns that lead out into the Mountains of Mirkwood) into guiding them safely out. The Denizens are faced with hordes of Feckless Boogan Spider-Egg Farmers! Comedic chaos ensues as they try to battle their way through, with angry spiders upset at the Denizens for killing their parents, safety-obsessed Merelicious trying to keep his skin intact and a horde of Boogans hurling, mostly, mud-pies.
